    So where were you in 1995/96, if you were at Hallam University at this time, do you remember some of these? It was a great year for Stardust as it’s souring popularity meant a promotion to  a weekly event!

    DJs at Stardust: The Dean Of Disco and Rufus Brutus

    The Nelson Mandela Building venues are re-launched as The Works.


    Stardust goes weekly every Friday night.


    The Drifters play the Hallam University Graduation Ball at The Octagon.


    Jeremy Healey plays dance night Steam at the NMB.


    Club Nights Reservoir Rocks (now at Corporation) arrives at Cuba and Brighton Beach starts at the City Hall Ballroom.


    PJ & Duncan headline at Sheffield City Hall.


    Biggest Selling UK Single of 1995: “Unchained Melody” – Robson & Jerome


    In The News in 1995:Frank Bruno becomes WBC World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, “Rogue Trader” Nick Leeson is jailed for 6 and a half years and The Diary of Bridget Jones is first published.
